The only thing more dangerous in this world than a madman with a purpose is a nerd with too much time on their hands. It's only a matter of time before a lack of physical contact with another human being and a desire to be special eventually catches up with every nerd, so they decide to take matters into their own hands and raid their parents attic for the accesories needed to assemble a superhero costume. Once their imaginary alter-ego is born, the nerd usually spends most of their free time pretending to fly around in their parents backyard and plotting evil schemes in a treehouse. Occasionally they do go out in public with their superhero costume on and that's when bad things happen to good people.
