The American workplace is completely backwards. Once you get out of college you should immediately transition into retirement for the next twenty years and collect social security from the goverment so you can enjoy the prime of your life without working. Then when you're 40 you enter the work force and work until you're 80 or you die. Makes perfect sense to me.
