R.I.P. Patrick Swayze

TBS and TNT will never get credit where credit is due even though Patrick Swayze was basically the Star Wars and George Lucas of Turner Broadcasting combined. If you sit back and think about it, there have literally been over 10 major cable TV networks launched by repeadtedly airing Roadhouse yet none of them have ever given "The Swayzenator" his due credit. I think we should all take this moment to honor the legend of Patrick Swayze and hope that we can all one day pull off a Swayze mullet and tear a man's throat out with our bare hands while skydiving with Johnny Utah.

RIP Patrick Swayze
written by AshtonD, September 20, 2009
RIP Patrick Swayze. Your memories will remain forever. After a long battle with pancreatic cancer, the actor Patrick Swayze has passed away. He was 57 years of age. Patrick Swayze was diagnosed in 2008 with stage 4 cancer, and it metastasized to his liver. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive forms, with less than 5% of patients surviving 5 years, most succumbing within 6 months of diagnosis. Swayze leaves behind an intimidating body of work, including smashing successes in blockbuster films, hit TV shows, and even a few highly regarded indie appearances and stage work. He will certainly be sorely missed, and there will be many paycheck loans worth for tributes to Patrick Swayze.
