Advertisers have been lying to us for centuries and their crimes continue to go unpunished by the American legal system. For example, AT&T long distance service never actually let you reach out and touch someone, most women who use L'Oreal hair care products aren't actually "worth it" and there's absolutely no way that BMW is the ultimate driving machine. The only advertising truth I've ever heard in my life came from KFC who claimed  that their food is finger lickin' good. Actually it's more forearm and chest lickin' good than finger lickin' good but who's counting.
